Can you answer Ho’s question about Saunas?:
I have recently joined a gym to get back into shape. Its been 2 years since I last been in a gym. I have always used the steam room after I work out and do my cardio. Today, while in the steam room, I got to wondering what exactly are the benefits of either the steam room or the sauna. Just curious, thats all.

Saunas Tips

Saunas Feedback: I use the steam room almost every time I go to the gym. I think it helps relax your muscles after you work out. It also makes you sweat which rids the body of impurities.
Saunas Feedback: best answer I can give you is steam room is wet heat and sauna is dry heat…it’s a matter of personal preference
Saunas Feedback: There are many ways to cleanse your skin of impurities. Saunas and steam baths allow you to eliminate heavy metals through your perspiration.
A sauna is dry heat. A steam is wet heat. Dry heat is actually better for deep muscle relaxation and tends to be a bit more sanitary. Wet heat is preferred by some because it causes more of a sweat and opens the pores more. Both are very therapeutic
Relaxation and a certain amount of detoxification would be the easiest answers to this question.
The heat of a sauna and steam room also leave you with healthier looking skin, and can help to open and clear your airways, as well as your pores. We’ve also heard that taking a sauna or steam room bath after exercising helps to alleviate the subsequent muscular soreness many people experience after a strenuous work out.
